In 2020, I met Lucina, a young woman with a big dream she wanted to become a tour guide. From the moment we spoke, I could see her passion and determination. She was eager to learn, but like many women in this industry, she faced challenges in finding opportunities.

Recognizing her potential, I started training her at the border from 2020 to 2023, helping her build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the tourism world. Her dedication was inspiring, and she never gave up on her goal.

By 2024, all her hard work paid off Lucina officially became a guide! Today, she is leading safaris and mountain treks, proving that women have a strong and essential place in this industry.
